I am moving across the country and will not have need of snow tires. These were purchased and used last year from November 16th 2014 thru April 12th 2015. The wheels are a basic steel wheel. The tires are General Altimax Arctic. Up until last winter I had always used All Season tires in the winter. I can safely say I will never go through another winter without snow tires again. These tires give you a strong feeling of confidence even while driving on unplowed roads with several inches of snow. As an added bonus, these tires are studdable, so if you want to have the most traction possible in the snow/ice you can.
