Ok…not COMPLETELY “new”…it has about 400 miles on it.
Here is the story…was driving to Vancouver when I hit something in the road and got a flat tire as a result. With about 200 miles of high speed driving in front of me, I didn’t want to put on the “temporary” spare, and the correct OEM replacement tires for my car are hard to come by.
So, I searched for near by tire shops on my phone, then called around to see who had the least expensive tire in the correct size. Drove to the shop on the flat, had the new tire installed, continued the trip to Vancouver.
When I returned, hunted for a true OEM replacement online, got prices, called my dealer, got their price, and they offered me a rebate for the tire since it (and the car) are brand new.
This tire that I am selling you was on my car for all of 6 days…just long enough to go to to Vancouver, return after the weekend, and then putz around town while I waited for my special order OEM tire to come into the dealer. 400 miles max. It cost me $130+ with tax and mounting etc. It would cost you $90+ plus tax mounting etc.
I am just looking to recoup HALF my out of pocket costs – $60.
If you need this size tire, then you have a pretty fancy car. And if you have a pretty fancy car, you know they KILL you on the cost of replacement tires. But maybe unlike me, your car isn’t leased, so you aren’t required to have a matching set of the OEM tires on it when it is turned back in? This is your lucky day. Or maybe you just want a full size spare in the correct size? My car doesn’t have room for a full sized spare – maybe yours does?
I’m just saying I could have used this deal a couple weeks ago – so I am offering it to you.
