4 New Kumho Ecsta Tires with Wheels

This is a set of four new Kuhmo Ecsta 4x 245/50ZR17 99w tires and four used Acura factory 17″ wheels. You’ll be buying the set of 4 tires + 4 wheels as pictured.

I bought a used 2012 Acura TL, and the dealer put on these tires because the original factory set was worn. The next day I bought a new set of tires to go with the bigger 18″ wheels I purchased.

The only mileage I put on these Kuhmo UHP all-season tires was during a short test drive, then driving my car home, and finally driving it to the tire shop the next day (about 25 miles total). These tires are practically brand new and are in wonderful condition.

The rims are the standard 17″ factory rims you would find on a 2012 Acura TL. There is some very slight wear on the rims and minimal scratching, but nothing major than you would expect from a car driven 40,000 miles by the previous owner. The wheels are 7 spoke, 17×8, with a 5x120mm pattern. I can send you pictures of each rim if you’re a serious buyer.

The Ecsta 4X is Kumho’s affordably priced Ultra High Performance All-Season tire developed for the drivers of sports cars, sporty coupes and performance sedans who want to be able to forget about the weather forecast. The Ecsta 4X molds an advanced silica-infused compound into an asymmetric tread design that features large outboard shoulder and intermediate tread blocks for quick response and sporty handling. A notched center rib provides continuous road contact that helps reduce noise while enhancing straight-line tracking and cornering stability. Four circumferential and multiple lateral grooves enhance hydroplaning resistance and wet traction while strategically placed sipes increase the number of biting edges to promote traction in snow.

The tire’s internal structure features twin, high-tensile steel belts and spirally wrapped jointless cap ply reinforcements that stabilize the tread area to enhance handling, high-speed durability and uniformity. The tire’s casing was developed using Kumho’s ESCOT “tension control optimization” technology that allows engineers to tune the bead, sidewall and shoulder tension to optimize footprint pressure distribution and uniformity. This results in less flexing and cooler operating temperatures that improve durability.
