The Firehawk Wide Oval AS molds a new all-season rubber compound into a symmetric tread design that blends dry road handling with wet and wintertime traction. Wide shoulders promote predictable dry road handling while high surface void and full depth tread design features promote wet road hydroplaning resistance and wintertime traction.
The tire’s internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped nylon, along with a casing reinforced by a hard sidewall filler between polyester cord plies to help resist distortion at high speeds and while cornering.
